Submission Information
The acceptance of abstracts will be determined by the Program Committee. We ask authors to observe the “Ethical Guidelines for the Academic Meetings of the Japanese Society of Legal Medicine.” To foster early-career forensic medicine researchers, we have established a “Student Research Presentation” category (see the section below for details).
Submission Period
Submission Method
Abstract submissions are accepted online (instructions are provided in Japanese).
If you experience any difficulty using the Japanese system, please contact the Secretariat (jslm110@jtbcom.co.jp) to submit your abstract by e-mail.
Eligibility for Submission
In principle, the first author must be a member of the Japanese Society of Legal Medicine. If a non-member wishes to present as the first author, they must join the Society (regular member annual fee: ¥10,000; student member: ¥5,000). However, if a one-time report fee (¥5,000) or annual report fee (¥10,000) is paid, this requirement does not apply.
For student research presentations: the first author may not present under the report-fee payment scheme — the first author must be a member (regular or student) of the Society.
Presentation format
- Oral presentation

For oral presentations: disclose COI on the first slide.
For poster presentations: disclose COI at the end of the poster.
Please refer to the Society’s “Conflict of Interest in Forensic Medicine Research” web page for details.
